Lost cat. Calico, female, about two years old, a small notch missing from the right ear. Went missing around 21:00 on 18 September in the vicinity of the residential compound's South Gate; she was not wearing a collar at the time.
The individual is shy of strangers and will not approach humans on her own, but she will pause for a moment when she hears her own name — a pause, then she leaves, and that is already the best possible response. Please do not chase her.
If you see her, please do not catch her, do not feed her and do not use a flash. Please leave a rainproof cardboard box within fifty metres of her range, and notify this newspaper at the site. This newspaper will pass the message on to her human.
This newspaper notes: going missing is not running away. Most missing individuals are within a two-hundred-metre radius; they simply do not wish to be found.
